Hangover Submission Guidelines

The New York Hangover is always looking for new artists and writers. We publish literary fiction, humor, music- and art-related features, or anything that has a unique spin.

Please send submssions to mail@nyhangover.com. For fiction, prose, etc., attach your submission as a Word document (no more than 5,000 words, please!), and paste it into the body of your email as well. Please do not format your Word documents with indents, tabs, or returns after each line. For artwork, please attach your sample as a jpeg or giff file, or provide a URL.

We read submissions only four times a year, so please be patient if you don't hear from us immediately. Due to the volume of subs we receive, we regret that we may not be able to contact you personally in the event that we decide not to publish your work. Please note that we don't generally publish romance, western, horror, sci-fi, or other genre fiction, or political commentary.
