Somebody Buys This Stuff?
This Month: International Male & Cosabella

Lately, we have been receiving the scariest catalogs in the mail, and although we've been laughing at the International Male Catalog for quite some time, we couldn't imagine that there would be a female catalog counterpart. And then it came: the Cosabella Catalog. Each month, we will bring you our favorite selections from each catalog. Just think of this feature as a big DON'T when it comes to fashion.

The Roman Empire should not inspire ANYTHING related to fashion. They didn't have paved roads! They HAD to wear those ugly things on their feet! It is 2002, and no human being should be caught dead in their coffin with these shoes on their feet. I cannot believe that someone actually created these awful, awful boot/shoes. Shoes should not have holes anywhere except to get the foot in. If you are a longtime reader, you know I hate feet, hate people who show their feet, and hate shoes or boots that flaunt feet. But there is just no explanation on any level for the two boot/shoes here. There is nothing good about them. And note to the Cosabella catalog writer: Spain is a country, and therefore should be capitalized. Also, "strappy" is spelled with two p's and is not a word. Sheesh.
